Adventure Club £24
Anderton Centre’s Adventure Club is calling all young adventurers aged 8–15 for a day full of action, fun, and outdoor excitement!
Participants can expect a mix of thrilling activities, from climbing, paddling, and exploring, to testing their aim with archery or conquering heights on the high ropes. Water-based fun includes canoeing, raft building, sailing, and stand-up paddleboarding, while bushcraft and survival skills offer the chance to build shelters, make fires, and connect with nature. For those ready for a challenge, the day may include a hike up the iconic Rivington Pike.
During the day, young adventurers take part in a combination of activities, such as two land and one water activity, four land activities, or two water activities. Activities vary daily and are adapted to suit the weather and participants’ age, skills, and confidence levels.
Adventure Club runs from 09:30 to 16:00, with optional sessions for early starts (08:00–09:30) or later pick-ups (16:00–17:30). The programme splits participants into age-appropriate groups to ensure everyone gets the best experience.
The Adventure Club takes place at the Anderton Centre on various dates throughout the year. Spaces fill quickly, so book early for an unforgettable day of adventure!
