The Archery GB Instructor Plus+ Award is a progressive training course designed for qualified archery instructors who want to develop archers past the initial taster or "have-a-go" stage.

Key Details

  • Prerequisite: You must already hold the entry-level Archery GB Instructor Award before taking this course.
  • Core Focus: It enables instructors to run a structured six-session program for new archers, helping them progress over a longer period.
  • Distances and Sights: It teaches instructors how to coach participants using sights and shooting at extended distances (up to 20 metres or more).

Skills Covered:

    • Refining shooting form and accuracy
    • Designing and delivering multiple engaging sessions
    • Advanced safety management on the range
    • Maintenance and basic repair of recurve bows and equipment
    • Giving continuous assessment and feedback
