These sessions will be held at The Anderton Centre in Chorley (PR69HG). 

Minimum age 8, children under 12 years old must be accompanied on the water by their parent / guardian.

Family Eid Water Day is a fun day for friends and family and an opportunity to try out paddling and sailing as a recreational activity, a fun sport or a future hobby! The day will be packed with activities and games, which will need to be booked online via The Anderton Centres website. Changing rooms, toilets and prayer area will be available. Activities are suitable for beginners. Gear: please wear comfortable non-cotton sportswear and bring a towel and change of clothes. Ideas for the gear: men/boys - top and knee-long shorts, women/girls - tunic and trousers, burkini, jogging suits. Please use safe pins to secure the headscarf if required. You will need to bring the following equipment 

  • Rucksack
  • A full change of clothing (to get wet) 
  • Fleece or warm jacket and a woolly hat 
  • Shoes to get wet (No Open Toed Shoes, Flip, Flops, Sliders or Wellies)
  • Towel 
  • Hand Sanitizer 
  • Water Bottle 
  • Snacks 
  • Medication (if required and please inform your instructor) 
  • Sun cream
