‘Reservoirs contain operational infrastructure and unseen risks. Swimming is not allowed on Lower Rivington, unless through an authorised swim session at the Anderton Centre. These managed swim sessions have additional safety measures to ensure that swimming can take place safely. For your own safety please do not swim at any United Utilities’ reservoirs.’
