Pay & Play Hire 2025 £12

Pay & Play Hire 2026 £12

Looking for a fun and flexible way to get out on the water? Our Pay & Play sessions are ideal for anyone wanting to hire a Sit-On-Top Kayak or Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) and enjoy paddling on our beautiful reservoir at their own pace.

Each session includes the hire of a SUP or Sit-On-Top Kayak, along with all required safety equipment, including buoyancy aids. You’ll also receive a short introduction from our experienced team to help you get started before heading out onto a supervised area of the reservoir, where you can explore comfortably and confidently.

Equipment is allocated subject to availability and weather conditions, so you will receive either a SUP or a Sit-On-Top Kayak on the day. Please note that inflatable craft, closed cockpit kayaks and open canoes are not permitted.

If you prefer to use your own kit, you are welcome to bring a SUP or Sit-On-Top Kayak, provided pre-wash instructions are followed. Inflatable kayaks, closed cockpit kayaks and open canoes are not allowed, and booking is still required even when bringing your own equipment.

Participants must be at least 6 years old. Children under 12 must be accompanied on the water by a parent or guardian, and children under 8 must share the same craft as their parent or guardian, such as a tandem Sit-On-Top Kayak. Changing rooms and showers are available on site. Dogs are not permitted on craft but may be brought onto site if kept on a lead.

Closed-toe footwear is required, with trainers recommended. Flip-flops and sliders are not suitable. The minimum clothing requirement is shorts and a t-shirt to help protect against the elements.

Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before your session time. Late arrival may result in a reduced time on the water. To book using a gift voucher, please email reception@andertoncentre.co.uk
