Train to be a dinghy instructor

The RYA Dinghy Instructor course is a widely recognised teaching qualification that allows successful candidates to teach the RYA National Sailing and Youth Sailing scheme at RYA recognised training centres.

In this 5-day course you will learn how to teach the RYA syllabus and the skills and drills of being an instructor.

Here at the Anderton Centre we pride ourselves on being able to offer first class RYA instructor training.  Our in house RYA Dinghy Trainers, together with our first class equipment and facilities will ensure you get the best start onto the instructor ladder.

 

Prior to booking onto the course, it is vital that you ensure that you meet and hold the following pre requisits and criteria:

Current RYA Dinghy Instructor course dates scheduled for 2024 so far:

  • Wednesday 30th October - 3rd November

As a rough guide to the expected standard of sailing required to pass the pre entry sailing assessment, we would advised that you have completed or are at the standard of RYA Seamanship Skills and RYA Sailing with Spinnakers as the training completed up to this level will be tested within the pre-entry assessment.
